In response to “Chi-Town Foodies”
Dear Editors,
Thanks for writing this article! In response to us wanting to expand, we now have a snapchat. This is a fun way for us to show our followers where we are eating, and all of our meals, even the ones we don’t post on instagram. It’s really fun to be able to use other social media for our pictures. We have so much fun with our food account and love going to try new restaurants in different areas and neighborhoods. A lot of the time we go out to dinner, we look at other instagram accounts and try to find the most interesting places that we wouldn’t normally go to so we can take pictures and eat great food. Since when we first started our instagram, we have gained so many skills, including better photography skills. We’ve attended a couple of food photography classes, and if you look back to our old pictures, we’ve definitely become a lot better in the lighting and quality of our photos. Since Owen Marks’s article was published, we have gained 1,000 followers and now have 6,000! We can’t wait to keep expanding chitown_foodies and can’t wait for what the future holds!
