In Response to “Parker Is Able”

In response to “Parker is Able”

Our son attends Parker in the 12th grade. As soon as he came to know about Griffen Saul’s initiative “We Are Able,” he jumped at the opportunity to initiate and help spread its spirit into Parker. One of his immediate supporters was our daughter in the 10th grade. The prompt and strong support of the Parker administration certainly contributed to the impetus of an unbelievable effort so that finally about 40 upper and middle school students at Parker had the opportunity to take part in the first ever “We Are Able” campaign last December. We hope this event becomes an annual campaign, given the low profile the area of physical disabilities had at Parker before that as part of its diversity programs. By supporting such efforts, Parker will continue to be among the leaders in school diversity campaigns for persons with disabilities.

Sincerely,
