In Response to “The Weekly”‘s Coverage of The Kolver Library

Dear Weekly Editors and Writers,
Thank you for all of your hard work this year. Having worked as a writer for my high school and college newspapers, I know it is a big time commitment to keep a publication going all year with the demands of school and academics. The Parker community is a vibrant one, and you all put in great effort to keep us informed. I have really enjoyed the online version of The Weekly as well, and thank you for sharing it with us in both print and digital formats.

There have been several articles in The Weekly this year about the changes being made in the Kovler Library, and the new construction going on in that space. This completely makes sense, as it is a pivotal event for the students and school this year. I have enjoyed reading all of the pieces. Looking forward to next year, it would be wonderful to see more reporting, and to see that you keep a sense of fairness and accuracy regarding the people who work in that space. The ILIS [Integrated Learning and Information Science] Department is always happy to work with The Weekly and share our thoughts, efforts, and projects.

Thank you for your hard work. Wishing you all a peaceful and fun-filled summer.
Best,
Sarah Beebe
