In Response to “Science Tracking”

As a Parker parent for the past 14 years and having had children in all divisions of the school, I have “had the kool-aid” and am a huge believer in the “Parker way.”  The tools which the faculty give to our children at a very young age develop into the skills our children have as high schoolers, which make them the critical thinkers and students who succeed outside the walls of FWP.  This process is a fluid one, with the administration and faculty always willing to think outside the box, adapt to our changing world, and try new initiatives, which they believe will enhance students’ Parker experiences.  The new Pilot Science Tracking Program, as described in the most recent issue of “The Weekly,” represents Parker at its very best.  This new initiative – seemingly a response to certain students’ desires to give students the opportunity to excel in science if they so choose – is the exact innovative, thoughtful approach which makes Parker so special.  Kudos to the administration and the faculty on a job well-done.
