Upper school history teacher Jeanne Barr was nominated to the nation’s highest judicial position by President Barack “Barreezy” Obama today.

Obama first met Barr when she took her Civil Liberties class on a field trip to Washington D.C. to protest Republican obstructionism, the drug war, and the fact that Donald Trump is allowed to be an American citizen. Obama had heard of her long before this trip due to the notoriety of her junior-year homework load.

“When Geoff told us the plan for the day was to sneak into Obama’s private chambers at the White House, I was a little concerned at first,” sixth-grader Grace Andrews said. “But then I was like, ‘Hey, why not? There’ll probably be some dope snapchats,’ and so I went.”

“When I first saw Barreezy in his pajamas, I was like, ‘Oh no, we’re busted,” Barr said. “But then he had this big breakdown about the whole supreme court situation, and I was like, ‘It’s okay,’ and he seemed so happy. He told me that that was the first nice thing someone said to him in over a year. And then we took a really deep dive into Howard Zinn.”

Following Obama’s announcement of his choice at a press conference this morning, Republicans immediately began to denounce Barr. This was true until Ted Cruz visited one of Barr’s classes and experienced a radical change of heart.

“Initially I hated her cause she wasn’t exactly like me,” Cruz said. “But then I went to one of her classes, and I realized how much she knew about constitutional law, and, I mean, real recognize real.”
