Though the cross country team didn’t have an official meet for Homecoming, they had a great time walking the parade, showing up to other teams’ games, and enjoying all of the other Homecoming festivities throughout the week. This year the cross country team has been successful, with the boys team coming in third and the girls in fourth at their meet at Lake Forest Academy earlier in the season. “The team is amazing and the bond we created through suffering through long runs together is unbreakable. We all enjoy the sport and return to it every day and every year and that’s what makes cross country so amazing,” senior Audrey Hunter said.
